As our incredible Panama Canal adventure slowly comes to an end, we have two more wonderful days at sea before reaching our final destination, Fort Lauderdale! After exciting ports, fascinating excursions, and unforgettable experiences, we’re enjoying a little relaxation and all the fabulous entertainment and dining that the Star Princess has to offer.
✨ A Spectacular Afternoon – Illuminate!
Today we attended a spectacular matinee performance of Illuminate, one of the dazzling production shows aboard the Star Princess. What a show! Featuring an incredible combination of music, dance, stunning costumes, dramatic lighting, and amazing visual effects, Illuminate is a feast for the senses. The talented performers brought the stage to life with their energy, precision, and artistry. Princess Cruises certainly knows how to put on a first-class production!
🍷 Tonight’s Highlight – The Caymus Winemaker’s Dinner!
Tonight, we’re looking forward to another special culinary experience — the Caymus Winemaker’s Dinner, an elegant, multi-course dining event celebrating the renowned wines of Caymus Vineyards in California’s beautiful Napa Valley.
For those unfamiliar with Caymus, this family-owned winery was founded in 1972 by the Wagner family and has become especially famous for its rich, velvety Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery’s reputation for producing exceptional wines has made Caymus a favorite among wine lovers around the world.
The dinner promises to be a wonderful gastronomic journey, with a carefully curated selection of gourmet courses, each thoughtfully paired with wines chosen to complement and enhance the flavors of the food. From beautifully presented dishes to exceptional wine pairings, it’s designed to be a truly memorable fine-dining experience.

🌅 Savoring Our Final Days at Sea
It’s hard to believe that our journey from the Pacific Ocean, through the Panama Canal, and into the Caribbean is almost over. We’ve visited beautiful destinations, met some wonderful people, enjoyed incredible meals, and made memories that will last a lifetime.
But we’re not quite ready to say goodbye just yet! We still have two days to enjoy the ocean breezes, beautiful sunsets, and everything this magnificent ship has to offer.
