This was truly an unforgettable shore excursion! We admired the beautiful Italian villages and cinematic landscapes where The Godfather saga came to life around us.
We began with a scenic countryside drive to the charming town of Savoca, taking in the breathtaking views along the way. We paused to enjoy a refreshing, authentic Sicilian granita—a true local treat we didn’t want to miss.
From there, we continued on to a nearby village, where we caught a glimpse of the impressive castle of Capo Sant’Alessio one of the iconic filming locations from The Godfather Part III featuring Al Pacino.
We followed in the footsteps of Francis Ford Coppola as we visited the legendary settings that helped bring his epic Godfather series to life.
Along the way, we saw the famous Bar Vitelli, as well as a private residence that houses a fascinating collection of photographs and artifacts from the making of The Godfather Part II.
