Our Next Adventure: A 16-Night Panama Canal Voyage on the Star Princess!
While we’re still reliving the wonderful memories of our recent European adventures, we already have our sights set on the next incredible journey!
On October 4, 2026, we’ll fly from Miami to Los Angeles to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime voyage aboard the beautiful new Star Princess, Princess Cruises’ newest Sphere-class ship. This 16-night sailing will take us from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean through one of the world’s greatest engineering marvels—the Panama Canal.
Our adventure begins in Los Angeles before we sail south along the Mexican Riviera, stopping in:
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Known for its dramatic rock formations, beautiful beaches, and the famous El Arco, Cabo offers stunning scenery where the desert meets the sea.
Mazatlán, Mexico
Often called the “Pearl of the Pacific,” Mazatlán boasts a charming historic center, a vibrant waterfront promenade, and some of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches.
After enjoying several relaxing sea days crossing the Pacific, we’ll arrive at:
Fuerte Amador (Panama City), Panama
Located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, this port offers access to fascinating Panama City, a unique blend of colonial history, modern skyscrapers, and tropical landscapes.

The highlight of the voyage! We’ll spend the day traversing one of the greatest engineering achievements in history. Opened in 1914, the Panama Canal connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and saves ships nearly 8,000 miles compared to sailing around Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America. Watching the ship navigate the massive locks promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Once in the Caribbean, we’ll visit:
Oranjestad, Aruba
With its colorful Dutch architecture, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and year-round sunshine, Aruba is often considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean.
Following a few final sea days, we’ll conclude our journey in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on October 20, 2026.
This itinerary offers the perfect combination of exciting ports, relaxing sea days, and the rare opportunity to experience a complete Panama Canal transit aboard one of the newest and most innovative ships at sea. We’re especially looking forward to exploring the Star Princess, enjoying her many dining venues and entertainment offerings, and sharing every step of the journey with you.
