We will discover one of Italy’s most iconic landmarks as we visit the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa—an experience no trip to this remarkable city would be complete without.
Upon arriving in Pisa, we will board a local trolley train with our guide, who will take us directly to the historic Square of Miracles. There, we will step into a UNESCO World Heritage Site and explore its extraordinary monuments at our own pace, taking in the unforgettable beauty of this celebrated setting.
As we explore, we will learn how the famous bell tower came to lean more than 16 feet—and how ongoing efforts continue to preserve and stabilize this architectural wonder.
We will also discover the magnificent Duomo, a stunning medieval cathedral featuring a striking Tuscan-Romanesque façade and an interior influenced by Arabic design. Nearby, we will admire the elegant Pisa Baptistery, where Romanesque and Gothic styles come together in a beautifully crafted marble structure dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
