The big day is here! (12/09/25) Embarkation Day! We stepped aboard the stunning Spectrum of the Seas at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. This terminal, once the site of the old Kai Tak Airport runway, provides breathtaking views of the harbor.
We’re finally heading to Vietnam! Currently aboard the Spectrum of the Seas, we’re en route to Chan May. Chan May is a beautiful coastal town known for its stunning beaches and proximity to historical sites like the ancient town of Hoi An and the Imperial City of Hue.
What an incredible day and night we’ve had! We took the time to explore this magnificent ship, the Spectrum of the Seas, which boasts impressive features such as a thrilling skydiving simulator, a stunning pool deck, and a variety of dining options.
One of the highlights of our evening was watching the production show “Silk Road.” This spectacular performance showcased breathtaking choreography, vibrant costumes, and an enchanting storyline that transported us through the rich cultures along the ancient trade route.
By the end of the night, we were so exhausted from all the excitement that we decided to skip the remaining festivities.
